Databricks Attribution Rules

Open the Rules tab in Cost Allocation to manage attribution rules.

Creating, simulating, changing, or deleting rules requires an Admin or Owner role. Users can view the rules.

Use rules when identity mappings and default ownership are not enough:

• Exact rules for a known resource ID.
• Pattern rules for naming conventions, principal domains, or Databricks tags.
• Proportional rules for overhead categories that should be split by compute spend.
